This program offers the opportunity for young children to have a pre-school experience and become familiar with a school setting in a relaxed atmosphere appropriate to their age level.

Each day of the program, the teacher and an assistant are present to supervise and work with the children. Daily activities include story/sing-a-long time, rotation through learning centers for creative play, arts & crafts, snack time, free play time, and outdoor activities if the weather permits.

Please be sure that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather as the teachers intend to use the outdoor
secure playground whenever possible.

Registration
Please complete a registration form and send to the Superintendent’s Office in Spring Street School.  A deposit ($100 for the two-day program and $150 for the three-day program) is required and will be considered your last month’s (June) tuition payment.

Hours
The Play & Learn Program will be open from 9:00 am - 11:30 am for the morning sessions and Noon - 2:30 pm for the afternoon sessions. The program will follow the school calendar for holidays and vacations and begins the week of September 10, 2007.

The program offers two separate sections based on age. The Monday, Wednesday, Friday sessions (morning and afternoon) is appropriate for 4-5 year olds and the Tuesday and Thursday morning session is appropriate for 3-4 year olds. Space is limited to 15 children per session and will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.

All students MUST be potty-trained before the start of school.

Tuition

3 day program
a.m. class = 9:00-12:00
Appropriate for ages 4-5
$1500 annual - payable as $150/ month

 

2 day  program
p.m. class = 12:30-2:30
Appropriate for ages 3-4 
$1000 annual - payable as $100/month

 

Billing
A bill will be issued the first  week of each month and payment is expected  within 7 days of the billing date.  The bill will be based on your child’s enrolled session and payment is due  for your child, regardless of his/her attendance.  Payment can be handed to the teacher.  Should there be any financial difficulties, please contact Mrs. Mardo in the Business Office at the Spring St. School.

Snack
Snack will be provided by the teachers and is included in the tuition costs. Please alert the teacher if your child has any food allergies.

Snow Day Policy
The Play & Learn Program follows the West Bridgewater Public School Calendar.   If school is cancelled for the day, the Play & Learn Program is also cancelled. If there is a delayed opening for the schools this also applies to the Play & Learn Program.  We ask that parents use their own judgment in deciding on their child’s attendance in bad weather.
